Hi everyone! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!
It’s been a really, good but busy week! We got to meet the mayor of the small town of Mamou! We did a ton of contacting this week! These small towns have some….. interesting people :l. We’ve been really short on miles so we’ve had to do lots of biking! Tuesday-Friday we only used a total of 5 miles on the car for the 4 days instead of at least 20 each day.
Yesterday, we met some really really nice people! They are awesome! They were really open and they told us about some stuff that has been going on in Eunice and to make sure that we are in before 7pm! About a week and a half ago one of the Sister’s i had served with in Ponchatoula called me and told me that our investigator Andrea, that we had taught, had passed away on the 10th. I was able to talk to the family and see how they are doing…
How is Joshuas head doing? Basement flooded? Wow, you guys are busy. Its been raining a ton here. This week we did a TON of biking. We do alot of cooking, we are not fed much. Since, I’ve been here, we’ve had 1 service thing we could do and it went really well! We were told that the people were a bit anti Mormon but they ended up being really anti RLDS not LDS.
HaPpY FaThEr’S day!
