We got a text with this picture,Friday from a member that Micah and his companion were safe from the flooding and were eating at Taco Bell after helping people move.
From Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission:
Apparently the post I sent last night did not work. We are having some problems with internet. All the missionaries are safe. Most of the missionaries were not affected by the flooding at all. Some of the missionaries serving in Denham Springs and Gonzales will have to move to new apartments. Our mission office, which in the Denham Springs Stake Center was flooded badly so we will have to start from scratch and that will take several weeks. Once the water recedes, which it is already starting to do, missionaries in affected areas will be doing service. Do not send any mail to the office. You can send it instead to the mission home, 13723 Tiger Bend Rd. Baton Rouge, LA 70817.
From the mission president via text:
Elder Ralph is in Baton Rouge and he is fine. He lives close to us and, though the water cut off some streets, his apartment was fine. He is a great young man and we sure love him:)
